Foods were good and reasonable priced comparing other Yakitori joints n restaurants in SG. Beers price on Happy Hours rate was reasonable for a Japanese restaurant standard. Staffs were friendly. Crowded during Meal time, be sure to make reservations for big group.

Overall not bad experience with pretty decent HH deals. Food was generally not bad with some hits and misses. Grilled egg plants, lamb skewers ok. However, they did overcharge us by 3 non HH pints and luckily we noticed it and they cancelled the extra charges. Explanation on their side was due to their ordering system. You are only able to see the orders done on each phone but not able to see consolidated orders via the same QR code which resulted in some confusion..do take note of this

Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was great and food was good too. I would recommend the skewers, the teriyaki chicken rice bowl and the dish with pork belly and glass noodles. There was a dish that wasn’t up to our expectations and that was the creamy veggie pasta, it was way too concentrated with the cheese and there weren’t many vegetables and the pasta and stuff. Other than that the restaurant was good

Revisited The Skewer Bar recently after they shifted out to their own space. The place is rather crowded but fortunately we are able to get a seat inside. Ambience was very different from the previous location which was within a coffee shop. Pricing was higher than the previous time we went, which was understandable with the expansion of place and crews. Plus point of the new setting is the draft beers!

Brought some friend to chill out. Food standard kinda dropped. Inside air circulation is not as good as before so sitting outside might be a better choice. Food Quality B Quantity A Service A

4 years and TSB has moved from Lorong 27 to 25. Love the fact TSB still managed to maintain the cosiness and chill in this new location. Love the expanded menu and appreciate slight price adjustment over these years. What’s slightly disappointing is the serving size of the vegetables (we had okra, shiitake, leek, pineapples) and shishamo and meat skewers in general… That said, still a deservingly solid rating for the food and service! Will be back to check out their sake!
